KADO ICHIKA Walnut Triangular Rod with 7mm pistil 七ミリ三⾓棒 - Canadian Distribution - Ships Free Within Canada on Orders Above CAD $199

Triangular rod is one of the fundamental tools in shaping wagashi, such as nerikiri and konashi.  This wooden tool is crafted with blunt and sharp edges surround the rod, while the pistil stamp at the end is made into a unconventionally chic 7mm.

Length: 18cm

Material: walnut wood

Since natural wood is the material used, there may be scratches, dents, or discolouration depending on the position of the wood knots.  Using of detergent with hard water also may deteriorate the material faster.  We do not accept exchanges or returns on this product.

Wagashi -- traditional Japanese sweets -- capture seasonality and imagery of nature in their aesthetics.  They are served before the bowl of matcha that concludes even the most elaborate kaiseki meal.  The specialty wagashi tools are from reputable makers.  They exhibit the craftsmanship that is respected also in wagashi making.
